how different jobs/hobbies relates to Professional Trading

Perhaps more than any other walk-of-life, Martial Arts connects a physical activity with life-giving truths and philosophies.  This may be the most important observance of ours here at TPT as we see the need to understand ourselves in order to properly execute winning trades.  

We can understand ourselves by the hobbies and careers we've chosen for ourselves thus far.  

How do some of the best musical artists and session players stay busy?  By a couple of things:  

1. By knowing their industry
2. By staying skilled on their instrument

Each of these requires study and practice, both of which doesn't happen without a practice room.  

The same goes for trading options, you need consistent access to accurate data points and a community to bounce ideas off of.  Plus, you need a 'music room' (or our Options Trading Dojang) to practice the mechanics of options implementations/trades.  

Some of might pose a significant background in Cyber Security.  What does this have to do with Options Trading?

The purpose of Cyber/Information Security is to inform risk to stakeholders so that they can make the wisest implementation of fix actions to maximize risk mitigation.  

Same goes for your trading account.  You need to learn how to maximize gains and minimize your losses. 

PROFESSIONAL surfers are professional athletes and train for competition as well as enjoyment of their activities.  In the same way that one cannot take on a big ocean break without understanding the underlying science of oceanic tides and currents, you also likely cannot take on the stock market by yourself without understanding which financial tides and currents are moving the stock market..  

But, you're always more than welcome to try 'surfing on your own.'   However, we here at TPT professional education and mentorship.  

Believe it or not, equestrian living is very similar to surfing in regards to your mental and emotional temperance.  Keep in mind that though a horse can provide a great trail ride, the physical and emotional power of a 1200 pound creature underneath you can seriously injure you (or worse) if you don't approach this creature with solid fundamentals.  

Even though such animals as 'Bull' and 'Bear' are used, we don't think it too far away to study this creature as it relates to many losing money in the markets every day.  

We all want to live that photo you see just above.  However, do we understand how much foundation is laid in order to achieve that?  Do we even know, as casual citizens, what a fundamentals and skills it takes to build that type of construct?  

Furthermore, what happens if those engineering fundamentals are NOT met?  

Think of that and how it relates to many people losing money in the markets because they don't have a professional approach.
