We believe that Stock Options Trading is a Mental Martial Art.
Perhaps more than any other walk-of-life, Martial Arts connects a physical activity with life-giving discipline, personal truths and philosophic frameworks.
Its very similar with Stock Options Trading. Follow our channel on YouTube for videos on this and other philosophic subjects for better trading and better living.

No, we are not "trading cars." But companies like Ferrari, Ford and Porsche can be perceived in ways that parallel both your options trading activities and life as a whole.
NOTE: My opinions are not necessarily those of the Ferrari, Ford P, corporations, partners, etc.
Here is an example:
LOGIC and EMOTION: we need both of these qualities. Watch the video above to see how I draw parallels between Ferrari engine manufacturing and the human soul.
What do you need to play drums effectively and trade Stock Options effectively?
Experience? Certainly. But quite simply, it's what drumming does to you physically that that will inform what you need mentally in order to tackle both Stock Options Trading and life as a whole.
BIG WAVE PRO surfers are professional athletes that train for competition as well as personal enjoyment. For some, they incur broken bones and even loss of life; this may come occur after years of successful professional surfing.
Here's a metaphoric sample:
While driving a car engages us to a fixed surface, surfing engages us to a dynamically changing surface which you must be trained for (kind of like stock options trading).
Here's another:
Also, in the same way that one cannot take on a big ocean break without understanding the underlying science of oceanic tides and currents, you also likely cannot take on the stock market by yourself without understanding which financial tides and currents are moving the stock market.
However, you're always more than welcome to try ”surfing on your own“ without professional education and training.
Believe it or not, equestrian living is very similar to Stock Options Trading in regards to your mental and emotional temperance.
At first glance, a horse can provide a great trail ride and stability due to its enormous strength.
However, the physical and emotional power of a 1200 pound creature underneath your saddle can also seriously injure you (or worse) if you don't approach this creature with solid fundamentals.
Even professional riders sometimes get injured.
Sound like your Stock Options Trading experience?
It takes continual exposure to error correction and continued personal discipline to trade profitably on a consistent basis.
Could you imagine building that house WITH ZERO professional skills? Could you imagine paying a construction company with no vetted resume, references, or experience other than his smooth persuasion?
"Trust me... I'm the best at this."
Yet, that's what so many retail traders are trying to do with their trading activity. Retail traders largely insist on following the advice of slick talking charlatan educators and trading gurus.
If I'm going to lose, I'd rather lose having had the advice of people who are vetted and licensed as professionals, like my mentor hyper linked there, Raj Malhotra.
Losing with professional guidance, the pro can help course correct from vetted experience. The lying guru isn't there when you fall, laughing at you with your subscription all the way to the bank.
