The Story So Far...
Welcome to The Philosophic Trader—a no-BS hub for options trading mindset development, recovery and progress.
I'm a former mentee of The Institute of Trading and Portfolio Managment (ITPM) under Raj Malhotra, sharing unfiltered lessons from my 50+% portfolio drawdown after 12 weeks of direct mentoring and approx. 8 months of trading (2024).
The Approach
We're pulling life philosophy into our stock options trading examination. We look at metaphor, allegory and story driven narrative as a more preferred method of supporting our goals similar to an archway and keystone used to hold together the aqueduct you see over to the right.
We'll be drawing from some of life's most intriguing activities:
- Ferrari engineering for mental and emotional understanding like you've never seen before
- Taekwondo for distance and timing of striking and evading an opponent (the market)
- Drumming for dynamics and volatility (with side serving of timing as well)
- Military tactics for discipline and mentorship fully encompassed
- Big Wave Surfing for entries/exits—
All of this blended with weekly lives on YouTube (Macro Mondays to AMA Fridays).
